[Last Chaos]Last Chaos Guide: How to Upgrade(08/19/2010)

In Last Chaos, to upgrade an item, you need to equip the item, then drag the appropriate type of smelt (normal smelt, LSS, CSS, HS, ES, PRS, PRO, or DRO). To the equipped item in the equipped items area of your inventory window, the upper part of the inventory window, which shows what gear you have equipped and release. If the item is level(Last Chaos Gold) 145 or lower and already +3 or higher, you will see a warning that the item may break without the use of "Insurance of smelting stone".
If you are using an LSS, CSS, ES, or PRS, there is no chance of breaking, so the message can be ignored. If you are using a normal smelt or an HS, you will want to use an RoP I which is good on any item that is +3, +4, +5, +6, +7, +8, or +9, or you may want to use an RoP II that is good on any item that is +10 or higher, in combination with the normal smelt or HS, in order to prevent breakage an RoP will not prevent "no change", nor will it prevent downgrading.
For items that are level(Last Chaos powerleveling) 146 or higher, there are only three options currently available for players. These are PRO, DRO, and PRS. A "Master Stone" is something the GMs can do, but it's a custom upgrade done by a GM. See below.
